Resistor mode — Choose 4 or 5 bands from the dropdown. Click a color swatch for each band (digits, multiplier, tolerance) to build your resistor's code. The reading updates live, and you can switch the output unit between Ω, kΩ, and MΩ using the dropdown next to the value.

Capacitor mode — Two sub-tabs:
Code → Value: type an EIA code (e.g. 104) and pick the output unit (pF/nF/µF) to see the equivalent capacitance.
Value → Code: enter a capacitance value, pick its unit, and get the matching EIA code back.
